Thick enough for proper mud. After a wet countryside walk you want a dog towel that really holds water. This one is made from dense looped terry microfibre, so each rub lifts rain, puddle water and mud from the coat and your dog is much less damp before it reaches the sofa.

Simple to look after. Shake off the worst of the mud, then put it in the washing machine with your other dog bits. Skip fabric softener to keep the loops absorbent, and air dry ready for the next walk.

Two sizes, two colours. The smaller towel suits paws, puppies and small dogs, and the larger one drapes over the back of a medium dog such as a spaniel. Both come in soft grey or warm brown with a small embroidered black paw print.
