I got this for my dog to play with when I go out. He gets really stressed so I thought this might do the trick. He really seems to like it, hopefully it will help take his mind off being on his own.

Just look at that face. She goes absolutely bonkers when we bring the Kraken out. The blue one is her favourite (we've got both colours now). She's a cockapoo so not exactly a big dog, but she tugs those tentacles like she's twice her size. Best purchase we've made from Happier Doggo.
Our Bernese mountain dog spent the first hour absolutely battering this octopus around the living room. Now it's her sofa companion. She rests her head on it and just melts. The plush is so soft and the tentacles wrap around her perfectly. For a big dog, she's surprisingly gentle when she's in cuddle mode.
He grabs a tentacle, I grab the head, and we go at it. The elastic inside means the tentacles stretch and spring back which he finds absolutely thrilling. The little white dog in the background is still waiting for her turn. Might need to order a second one.
We've tried trading treats for it and he's not interested. The size of this toy is perfect for goldens, big enough that he can properly hold it and the tentacles give him loads to chew on.
This is the look I get every single time I pick the Kraken up. Complete laser focus. She'll sit, wait, do literally anything you ask if she thinks a tug session is coming. It's become our best training motivator. One squeak of that octopus and she's locked in.
Our husky Luna has perfected the art of looking completely unbothered whilst wearing an octopus on her head. She pretends she hates it but the second we take it off she picks it up herself. The tentacles wrap around her face perfectly. We're considering entering her into some kind of dog modelling competition.
Our collie has always loved toys but this one has properly levelled up our play sessions. She goes absolutely wild for the squeaker and the tentacles give her so much to grab. This photo is about half a second before she yanked it out of my hand and ran off. Pure joy every single time.
He's a big, powerful dog but something about this octopus makes him go soft. He carries it around so carefully, like he's protecting it. Then five minutes later he's shaking it about like a ragdoll and the squeaker's going mental. The multi-layer fabric is genuinely tough no rips despite some very enthusiastic play sessions.
My corgi somehow ends up wearing this as a hat every evening and the whole family now demands daily photos. That startled look she does is just her being dramatic she loves it really. The tentacles drape round her ears perfectly. We've had it three weeks and it's already the most photographed thing in our house.

The second this arrived he claimed it and hasn't let anyone near it since. He carries it from room to room and gives you this look if you even glance at it. The build quality is properly solid. He's a big lad and the tentacles have held up through some serious tugging sessions.
Our Shiba is not a cuddly dog with humans but apparently octopuses are another matter entirely. He wraps his paws around the Kraken and falls asleep like this every afternoon. The tentacles drape over him like a blanket. It's the sweetest thing I've ever seen.
Every time someone comes through the front door, Charlie runs to grab his Kraken and brings it to show them. Tentacles dangling everywhere, squeaker going off. It's his prized possession.
This is every single night now. She curls up with the Kraken tucked right next to her and won't settle without it. During the day it's a tug toy, at night it's her comfort blanket. The soft plush body is clearly really soothing for her. We've ordered a backup just in case anything happens to this one.
He's 10 years old and far too dignified for this, but he lets us put the Kraken on his head every single evening and just gives us this look. When we take it off he immediately picks it up and carries it to his bed. He's not fooling anyone he loves it really :D :D
She's got about fifteen toys and the Kraken is the only one that makes it to her bed. Look at that face - she's properly chuffed with it. The quality is miles ahead of her other plush toys too. We've had it over a month and the tentacles are still bouncy.
This is what we see about 30 times a day. He picks it up, parades through the house, drops it at your feet, then picks it up and does it all again. The tentacles dangle everywhere and the squeaker goes off with every step. Our neighbours can hear him coming. Absolutely obsessed
I don't know how it happened but our border collie has decided the Kraken is a hat. She shakes it onto her head and just sits there grinning like this. We've got about 200 photos of it now. When she's not modelling it she's tugging the tentacles like her life depends on it. Best money I've ever spent on a dog toy.
