Our Old English Sheepdog found this in the packaging before I'd even opened it properly and she hasn't let go since. She carries it room to room, drops it at your feet for a tug, then snatches it back and trots off with it. The plush body is perfect for her soft mouth and the orange beak survives the occasional proper chomp. We've started calling her the platypus guardian. Absolutely her favourite toy out of about twenty.

Our boy parades around the house with this platypus in his mouth like he's just won Crufts. Takes it to the garden, brings it back inside, drops it at your feet, then picks it up again. The size is perfect for him to carry and the quack goes off every few steps. Absolute winner of a toy.
I've never seen our corgi this happy with a toy. She lies on her back chewing the beak with this massive grin on her face. The quack sends her into absolute hysterics every time. We've taken about 50 photos of her with it already. Worth every penny just for the entertainment.
Our golden is 11 now and doesn't play like he used to, but he absolutely loves having this platypus next to him. He gives it a gentle squeak now and then and just lies with it. It's become his comfort companion more than a play toy at this stage. Proper heartwarming to watch.

The tug sessions are intense and the reinforced beak is holding up brilliantly. This is proper tug-of-war, not a gentle pull. Three weeks in and not a single rip.
Our golden retriever is the softest dog alive and he holds this platypus so gently in his mouth like it's a baby bird. Then two minutes later he's shaking it about like mad. The soft plush body is perfect for his gentle side and the tough beak handles the wild side. Love it.

Don't let the size fool you our dog plays tug with this like she's ten times her size. She latches onto the beak and absolutely will not let go. The quack sound gets her so hyped up it's hilarious. Best tug toy we've ever had, and I've tried plenty.
Wasn't expecting much from an online dog toy but the build quality is genuinely impressive. The orange beak is made from a really tough material nothing like the flimsy plush toys you get from the supermarket. You can feel the difference when you hold it. Our dog approved immediately.
Bella won't go to sleep without her Platty. Every night she carries it to her bed and curls up with it. I think the plush soaks up our scent because she nuzzles right into it. During the day it's a tug toy, at night it's a teddy bear.
Our staffie is a serious tugger and this is the first plush toy that’s held up properly. The oxford cloth beak and feet are genuinely tough. He shakes it about like mad but it’s still in one piece after a month of daily play.
