Fun & Novelty Dog Beds

Fun and novelty dog beds turn your dog's bed into a talking point: a hot dog in a bun, a banana, a shark with an open mouth or a puppy face with ears. They are as comfy as standard beds and make a popular gift. Our novelty beds come in sizes S to XL, with prices from £18.

Choosing Fun & Novelty Dog Beds

Pick the shape for how your dog sleeps

Novelty beds still follow the same rules as any bed. Dogs that curl up suit the round puppy face bed. Dogs that like to lean or rest their head suit the hot dog bun and fruit beds, which have bolster sides. Dogs that like to hide away suit the shark bed, which works like a cave.

Choosing the right size

Measure your dog in its usual sleeping position, from nose to base of tail, and add 10 to 20 cm. For round beds, measure your dog curled up and use that as the diameter. Check the size chart on each product page, as sizes differ between designs.

Gifts and Christmas

A novelty bed makes a fun present for a new puppy or a dog lover. At Christmas, see our Christmas tree beds and other festive gifts in Christmas Gifts for Dogs.

Care

Shake or vacuum loose hair off the bed regularly. The hot dog bed has a removable sausage cushion. Check the care section on each product page before washing. For more classic designs, browse all dog beds.

Frequently asked questions

What is the hot dog dog bed?

It is a plush bed shaped like a hot dog bun, with a removable sausage shaped cushion in the middle. The bun sides work like bolsters for your dog to rest its head on. It comes in sizes S to XL.

Are novelty dog beds comfortable?

Yes. Our novelty beds are padded plush beds with the same features as standard designs, such as bolster sides, raised rims or a covered top. Choose the shape that matches how your dog likes to sleep.

What size novelty bed should I buy?

Measure your dog from nose to base of tail in its usual sleeping position and add 10 to 20 cm, or measure it curled up for a round bed. Check the size chart on each product page.

Is a novelty dog bed a good gift?

Novelty beds are a popular gift for new puppy owners and dog lovers. If you are not sure of the dog's size, choose the larger size.

Can I wash a novelty dog bed?

Care differs between beds, so check the care section on each product page before washing. Remove any loose cushions first and let everything dry fully.
