Who a bolster bed suits

If your dog sleeps with its chin on the arm of the sofa, or leans against the back of it, a bolster bed gives it the same support in its own bed. Three sided sofa beds leave the front open, so dogs step in without climbing over a high edge. Oval beds with a bolster all the way round suit dogs that curl up but still like a pillow.

Measure your dog first

Measure your dog from nose to base of tail while it lies stretched out, then add 10 to 20 cm. Compare this with the inside sleeping area on the size chart, not the outside size, because the bolsters take up part of the bed. If your dog falls between two sizes, choose the larger bed.

Covers and washing

Several of our sofa beds have a removable zipped cover, which makes washing much easier. Our three sided sofa bed is water resistant, which helps with muddy dogs and older dogs. Always check the care section on each product page before washing.
