Choosing Dog Car & Travel

Seat covers and hammocks

A back seat hammock clips to the front and rear headrests and covers the seat, footwell and back of the front seats, so mud and hair stay off the upholstery. Our hammocks and seat covers are water resistant, and one has a mesh window so your dog can see you. Measure your back seat width before ordering.

Booster seats and car beds

Booster seats raise small dogs so they can see out of the window and stay in one spot. They strap to the headrest and come with a short tether or seat belt lead that clips to your dog's harness. Our car seat beds also work as a bed or carrier at the other end of the journey. Booster seats suit small dogs only; check the weight guide on each product page.

Seat belt leads and safety

A seat belt lead clips into the seat belt buckle or around the headrest and attaches to your dog's harness, not its collar. None of our car products are crash tested. Always clip the tether to a well fitted harness from our Harnesses, Collars & Leads range, and never leave your dog alone in a car.

Days out and holidays

For camping, caravans and days out, our roll up outdoor mat and portable raised camping cot give your dog a dry spot to rest. A drying coat helps after a wet walk before your dog gets back in the car.

Frequently asked questions

How should a dog travel in a car in the UK?

The Highway Code says dogs should be suitably restrained in a car so they cannot distract the driver or be injured if you stop quickly. Options include a seat belt lead attached to a harness, a crate, a dog guard or a pet carrier. Never attach a car tether to your dog's collar.

Are your dog car seats crash tested?

No. None of our car seats, booster seats, hammocks or seat belt leads are crash tested. They help keep your dog in one place and your seats cleaner. Always use them with a well fitted harness.

What size dog suits a car booster seat?

Booster seats suit small dogs. Check the size and weight guide on each product page and make sure your dog can sit and lie down comfortably inside the seat.

Will a dog hammock fit my car?

Most hammocks fit standard back seats in cars and SUVs and attach to the front and rear headrests. Measure the width of your back seat and compare it with the size on the product page before ordering.

Can a dog seat belt clip to a collar?

No. Always clip a dog seat belt or tether to a harness. Clipping it to a collar can put pressure on your dog's neck if the car stops suddenly.
