1. Scatter - Spread treats or kibble across the mat and give it a gentle shake to let everything settle into the folds.

2. Sniff - Let your dog nose their way through the layers. For beginners, start with treats on top and gradually hide them deeper.

3. Done - Pick the mat up when they’re finished. Always supervise — snuffle mats are for sniffing, not chewing.

Mealtime Boredom? Sorted.

Instead of inhaling their dinner in 30 seconds, your dog spends 10–15 minutes sniffing, nosing, and foraging through the fabric layers. It’s the kind of mental workout that leaves them genuinely satisfied - not just full. Brilliant for dogs who pace around looking for something to do after mealtimes.

Rainy Day? No Problem.

We’ve all had those days where the weather’s grim and walkies get cut short. The Snoots Snuffle Mat gives your dog proper enrichment without leaving the house. Scatter some treats, let them get to work, and enjoy 15 minutes of peace whilst they’re happily occupied.

Stays Put, Cleans Easy, Stores Away.

The non-slip base grips hard floors and carpet so your dog isn’t chasing the mat round the kitchen. When it gets slobbery (and it will), pop it in the washing machine and tumble dryer. When not in use, fold it flat and tuck it in a drawer. Job done.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes - the adjustable drawstring lets you expand it to the full 48cm or cinch it smaller, so it works for everything from a chihuahua to a Labrador. If you’ve got a really big breed, you might want to scatter their food across the full width for maximum foraging time.

If your dog is an aggressive chewer who tears toys to bits, this probably isn’t for them. The Snoots is designed for sniffing and foraging, not chewing. For most dogs who play normally, the durable felt fabric and reinforced base hold up well. Always supervise during use and pick it up once they’ve finished.

Pop it straight in the washing machine and tumble dryer - it’s that simple. We’d recommend giving it a wash before first use too, as it helps the fabric layers puff up and hold their shape better.

We’d stick to dry kibble and small treats. Wet food would be messy and harder to clean out of the fabric layers. The mat works best with dry food scattered across the surface.

Most dogs spend 10–15 minutes foraging through the mat, though some determined sniffers take even longer. It’s a proper mental workout - many dog behaviourists say 15 minutes of sniffing is equivalent to an hour’s walk in terms of mental stimulation.

No - the waterproof oxford cloth base has an anti-slip grip that keeps it firmly in place on hard floors, tiles, and carpet. No chasing it round the kitchen.

My beagle puppy absolutely loves his new snuffle mat. He gets bored with normal toys quick, but he loves to sniff and dig into this mat and get some of those urges out. I definitely reccomend for dogs who like to dig or hide toys!

My Chihuahua is a fast eater. I was hoping she would take an interest in this and boy did she. She hardly came up for air. It definitely slowed her down and she seemed to enjoy the challenge. Well done!!

This thing was an instant hit! My dog loves sticking his face in. I like to his pieces of his food in there or break up some pieces of a treat. It’s really nice for when he has the zoomed to help calm him down

Pup immediately figured out the game. He is excited evertime we get it out. It keeps his attention.

OMG, just arrived yesterday and my dogs love it. It took about 10 seconds to train them how to use and they are all obsessed. I have a sheltie, shipoo and a husky collie mix and it is great size for each of them. No more handing out treat, they are going in the toy and they can snuffle them out. You really need training size treats. So happy I had some on hand.

My Maltese puppy just barely a year old, loves this grass like sniff treat finder... was looking for fun stuff for him to do... he likes digging & hiding stuff so its doing good so far... He even sleeps on it...so it’s cozy gentle & soft enough...don’t know the long term use... but I’m happy with the purchase...thanks

My dogs love it. It's big enough for them to share. I buy training treats and hide them as a special treat for them to give them something to hunt and find on a rainy day.

My dog spent 20 minutes checking and rechecking to make sure this snuffle mat had not "grown" more treats for her. She goes back every hour just to make sure she didn't miss anything.

My dog loves this so much that he even uses it as a placemat for his toys while he’s playing with them. I guess he likes that it holds them in place for him. The photo attached is of him chewing on a toy inside this toy!It does serve its intended purpose very well too. He has a blast sniffing around for treats inside. The drawstring is a nice touch and the whole thing seems durable.

My 7 year old pug usually gobbles down food without chewing in less than 60 seconds and will choke. This is such a good buy! At first he spent 20 minutes finding the food. Now He spends at least 10 minutes finding food. It’s great exercise! He’s got finding the kernels of food down to 9 minutes now, but it’s still one of the best buys I’ve made. Haven’t washed it yet but I hope it holds up.

Love this product… My big girls (two terrier mixes, 20 and 30 pounds) enjoy them. I was also fostering puppies, and this literally saved my sanity. It distracts the puppers, and you don’t have to worry about overfeeding. Just a little bit and dogs are entertained for a long time, sniffing and digging through for snacks. The puppies also used them for naps— had my own little Anne Geddes gallery going. The mats are also easy to clean. I throw mine in the washer (with bleach even!), and then into the dryer— they hold up just fine.

I’ve wanted this for my dogs for a while and I’m glad I got it. It took them a few minutes to realize I put treats inside. Normally I just throw the treats around the house and they love to find them. This proved to be very mentally stimulating for them because they could smell the treats but had to look and sniff harder to find them. They still went looking around the house for more treats but they kept coming back to this as it was definitely stimulating for them.I’m glad I grabbed it.

My dog is very timid and scared of everything, it takes her a while to warm up to her new toys. It’s been 24 hours and she absolutely loves it. She’ll spend minutes at a time snuffling around in it. She’s usually very picky about her dinner, but ate her food right away when we put it in this! It’s wonderful knowing that she has something to occupy her. I would absolutely recommend this product.

I've spent a lot of money buying things for our puppy, and this is hands down my best purchase. Our trainer recommended it to help with mental stimulation, food guarding, and always trying to rip up the grass. It's help with all three of them. We use it to feed him a lot of his meals, which is nice because it slows him down. I love the drawstring so you can use it as a bowl or close it up for storage. The only downside is the clip on the drawstring already broke, presumably from our dog biting it. I would recommend this 100 times over.

I just got this so I cant say how easy it is to clean or how durable it will prove to be but I love this. My little girl who is extremely food motivated loves this. Love, love, love this. This is Rubi telling me she wants snuffle treats.

I just got this and put treat down inside of it and gave it to my dog Bella and she instantly went for it !! She is living it !! I am so happy I purchased this. She is happy as well. She has been busy with it for awhile now!!

Great interactive treat toy. My husband was quite skeptical when he saw it, but then he saw how the pup dove right in and searched for her treats. He took back anything negative he said. I sprinkled small dog treats, along with Cheerios into all the little nooks and she loves searching for them. Worth the money!!

Bought this on a whim because a YouTuber mentioned that it'd be good for mental stimulation, gets pups to use their nose, and keeps them busy while they sniff and hunt for treats or kibble! My puppy is currently waiting for her third series of vaccines so trying to find other ways to keep her busy or entertained indoors has been a challenge but this mat a is a HUGE blessing! I absolutely recommend it!

Bought for my Dog’s 12th birthday. It really stows down how fast he gobbled up treats. He loves it.

As you can see - my lab is nose deep in this thing loving it. She’s pretty smart though, so she’s getting the idea if she flips it over then the treats will fall out. And she’s also 5 months old and wants to destroy everything so it’s not going to last. However, this is a great concept and I loved it.

It's the perfect size. My dog and cat will take turns using it. My dog was more interested in finding her snacks. My cat not so much interested. I love how it can be wrapped into a bag for better clean up.

Keeps him busy

He moves the mess out of it so it doesn't stay put but it keeps him busy when I'm tired of fetch lol!!! Had to take the bell out because he didn't like the noise lol!!!
